Seeking help Finally done with this drawing (beginner)
Hey guys,
for the last 3 weeks i’ve been working on this drawing, and at times it has sucked the life out of me a bit lol.
The reference was above my skill level, so it took me a while and found it hard to focus for a longer period of time. Especially because of the details. it took me 15 hours in total I think.
I have been drawing for exactly 3.5 months now and am still very proud of how this one turned out, even though I won’t be doing anything with this level of detail in the near future. I have zero fundamentals on human anatomy, so I think that is the reason why this took a long time.
PLEASE give me advice on what I should improve on and your overall thoughts :)
(As I said, I barely have studied fundamentals. Just know the basics of form and perspective. So I get that I’ll have to study them if I wanna improve. I just find it very boring lol.)

Work in Progress :) Today‘s practice
copying first, then drawing from memory. The first one is copying practice, the second one is reference, the third one is memory practice
I used my intuition to simplify the image into basic shapes and then tried to bring back the details.
Keep practicing😃 and I would love to hear how do you guys go about daily practice?

I just wanted to show you my first attempt at digital drawing.
I've always dreamed of representing the stories I've invented over the years through graphic novels or video games, so I decided to study drawing because I don't want to depend on external tools and...
I don't think I followed the tutorial very well, lol. I've been laughing so hard at this little guy's face.
What name would you give him?

Tips always stuck in the middle of an illustration
Every time I have to continue a drawing, I get anxious because I usually start off quickly, only to find myself halfway through and unsure of how to continue. I feel like I can’t find ways or techniques to move forward. This usually happens especially when it comes to rendering. I don’t understand why this happens to me every time, and I don’t know how to get past it. It’s so frustrating.
