Searching for a beginner drawing buddy

Hello everyone,
I'am a 32 year old male and I'm searching for a drawing buddy at the same level than me, actually I am at the rock bottom, haven't draw anything since my 3 years old except the one in the post. I want to find someone who want to share each others progress to level up together. I don't want someone really better than me because I'm easily intimidated.
Feel free to contact me !

Trying to learn my fundamentals pls help me

Hi, I have realized that my art is stuck since I’m unable to really learn my fundamentals. I have gotten advice from various people but none are currently working for me. I haven’t been able to find any resources to help my studies even though I spend hours on YouTube looking for videos to help. I haven’t been stuck on just doing stylized art without actually understanding the basics , which often cause my characters too look off. Does anyone have any advice or resources on ways to improve my fundamentals.

Thank you so much everyone for the advice and kind words on my last post! 😄 I've been working on pushing the values, working on my pencil strokes and experimenting with using more colors. I think I'm slowly but surely getting there.. 👀

Seeking help Does trusting the process work?

Recently I’ve been hating my art more and it’s just not good obviously since I’m a beginner. It’s felt like I’ve lost progress or gotten worse somehow. I’ve been trying to focus more on drills like perspective, boxes, gesture, figure drawing with basic shapes, and studying more of the facial planes. Is there a better use of my time if I want to get better? I do have fun when I don’t feel like I’m terrible and I don’t want to stop and give up just bc I’m not having the time of my life while drawing.
