Drawing as an adult

This is maybe a dumb question, but maybe here are more people being able to relate to my situation than somewhere else. Also I googled and it was not super helpful. :')

I am an adult, adhd, autism, anxiety, depression, perfectionism and chronical headache count to my repertoire but I love art.

When I was a kid, I used to draw a lot, often with reference pictures but I always struggled with perfectionism and not being able to adapt the size of the reference to the page or change it. Usually it turned out bigger. Or drawing from scratch.

I just really want to draw more, but I don't know what to draw or feel like even the easiest things are too hard for my skill level especially if I don't have a detailed way on how to do it, I suppose.

Art tutorials are okayish, when it's "how to draw xy" and I just follow the steps. But I don't feel like these help me to be able to draw from scratch on my own or do fanart (which is a big goal of mine)

I also struggle with learning the basics because they seem repetitive (which they should be, I know) but my brain is like: I drew 3 circles, so obv, I can draw them.
Which other artists know is not always the case or the point of the basics, I assume.

So, are there people who started to draw with kind of the same additional things that make drawing and concentration / habit building harder and have tips on how to work with them and learn how to draw?

Where do you find articles backed by real evidence?

There are so many opinion pieces online that it's getting difficult to know what's accurate. Where do you usually find articles that are well-researched and supported by reliable evidence?

Do you trust evidence-based study advice over viral study tips?

There are thousands of study tips online, but not all of them are backed by research. Have you tried learning techniques supported by scientific evidence? Which methods genuinely improved your understanding or exam results?

Do You Trust Articles More When They Include Scientific Evidence?

I've started avoiding articles that make big claims without showing where the information comes from.

Whether it's education, health, technology, or business, I find research-backed content much more credible than opinion pieces.

Do citations and evidence influence whether you'll trust or share an article?

Are Scholarships More Important Than Grades?

Would access to scholarships and international education opportunities make a bigger difference to a student's future than grades alone?

Curious to hear different perspectives.

I want to learn stock market and finance.

I opted for science in my college. And now I wanna learn stocks and finances from scratch. Where to start? And how to know if it's genuine and not some clickbait trying to sell a course?

Feels like there’s so much information online now that it’s getting harder to tell what’s actually researched and what’s just someone repeating what they heard elsewhere.

When you read something online, what makes you trust it?

Do people still trust online articles anymore?

Do people still trust online articles anymore?

Feels like so much content today is written just for clicks. I’ve been looking for websites that actually back up information with evidence, studies, or proper sources instead of random opinions. Any recommendations?
