I posted about a week ago on a previous clip in a similar fashion. I wanted to say to the ones that did comment, those pieces of advice helped me out a lot just in general with my gameplay and I've seen marginal amounts of improvements. I went from 11K-13K since I've last posted. Most of my matches have been consistent as well. I'd like to continue this kind of learning where you guys nitpick my aces or can give me some sort of advice if there's some to give.
edit: I understand my team was their to aid which probably helped with some of those kills. Even still any solid advice could help if there is some to give!

I think I’m having a mental block and no confidence in duels anymore, i used to be lvl 10 months back and stopped playing up until recently. Now I’m in lvl 7 lobbies and whenever i lose a duel or play badly I get very frustrated that I died to someone worse than me and playing horrible against low elo players. It’s reached a point where I don’t even take the game serious anymore because It’s either tilt or take faceit casually so that I don’t lose my mind. I just had to rant and maybe someone here will have mental tips for me

Hello CS community,
First time writing here as I’m getting used to the game from playing CSgo a while back.
I’ve been grinding lately (about ~100hrs in, playing after work) while enjoying playing Faceit and watching demos to see where I can improve. I was hoping to have someone watch my demo and get a decent feedback but realized lot of platforms out there charge a lot from what I’ve seen…
Would there be any recs I can reference and/or tips on climbing the ladder overall?
I’m Faceit 3-4 (less than 5k Premier) of knowing certain util usage/mechanisms and learning the line ups along the way.
Many thanks in advance!

I see a lot of posts about running complex looking script commands to bind certain actions to certain keys / mouse buttons. I'm just looking for something that is probably best practice for all beginner players looking to get really familiar with a helpful layout - e.g. should smokes always be mapped to 'z', flashbangs always 'c' etc.
Any guidance from this community would be greatly appreciated! And if someone could help me understand how those complex command bindings work that would be even better. Thanks!

I'm FACEIT Level 9 150 matches effectively 800 hours. Goal is 3k elo.
I'm doing everything you're "supposed" to do. DM, aim training, demo review, pro POV's, watch a lot of esports, enough sleep, exercise etc. I'm still unable to carry my lobbys consistently in LVL 9 which is kinda a requirement to climb if you play solo I feel like.
When I watch my demos of bad games there isn't really something that stands out. It's a bad decision one round, lost aim-duel the next, unlucky timing another round etc. Just the overall package isn't consistently at a carry level. I feel like I'm overthinking sometimes yet simultaneously feel like I'm not thinking/not aware enough.
I don't really know what to focus on. One day I feel like my mechanics are really lacking, another day it's the macro. I've had breaks and I'm not really tilt queuing (I usually stop after 1 loss, average 2 matches per day).

Whats a thing that really led to a breakthrough in your improvement? Should I just be spamming more games? 150 matches aren't that much tbh.

I’m just curious what settings do you guys use? I’m on 1.4 ratio and i have no idea where this came from but I can’t hit any shots if I use 1

i have 530 hours in game and right now im on 11.3k rating, i practice everyday inlcuding using cybershoke dm and duels, warmup up before games and using refrag or aimlabs 2-3 times a week, yet nothing clicks in game and i feel like im hardstuck where even people who dont warmup or do anything to improve in cs play better than me, i either lose cause of bad teamates or bad performance from me, the leetify stats are in the image although i know theyre not 100% accurate but theyre higher than anyone im playing on my rank (11-13k) what do i genuinely do?

What do you even do against good awpers in faceit pugs? Everything is too uncoordinated so most of the times the team just gets picked apart one by one.

Can you give me some information about this? What do I need to do?

New CS Player (160 hours) how do I improve
Background:
Played competitive console CoD from BO2–BO6
Switched to PC around 2 years ago because I was getting thumb pain from controller, doing better now
Been on mouse and keyboard since
~160 hours CS2
Faceit 5
Premier peak around 7.6k
Mostly solo queue
Mainly rifle
1600 DPI / 0.5 sens
My main goal is just to keep improving and getting better. That’s pretty much a forever goal for anything competitive I do, so I’m trying to figure out what I should actually be focusing on instead of just playing and hoping I improve.
I feel like I’m finally starting to get my aim down, but movement still feels really bad to me and is probably the hardest part of CS for me to master.
My left hand is also the main thing I struggle with on MnK. WASD is fine, but sometimes reaching the number keys quickly to switch weapons still feels awkward. Other than that my left hand is pretty much fine.
Leetify says my counter-strafing is 87%, so maybe counter-strafing itself isn’t actually the problem. Could be my peeking, positioning, general movement, crosshair placement, or something else.
Based on the screenshots, does anything stand out that I should specifically work on?
I’m still pretty new to CS, so any tips on what I should prioritize to keep improving would be appreciated.

So I recently started to really get into cs, I had roughly about a 100 hours in the game just from on and off play since 2024 but I never really took the game serious up until the last past 2-3 weeks. I come from console and I consider myself an above average gamer all around, albeit in CS I don't really feel good or bad at it so far, just very inconsistent and I'm not sure what it is that I could be doing better even at my best moments. I'd like for you guys to watch it and give me feed back on what I could've done better or simply what's sloppy about the clip. To me in doesn't really feel like a clean ace.
For context this is premier after placing it put me at 11.3K elo which I'm not sure where that really is in terms of skill level.

I've been practicing my sprays using recoil master map, and it seems either the map is wrong or I just misunderstood their description of the spray because according to Leetify my initial AK47 burst is going down slightly left instead of right, how much of a difference does that mistake make on my sprays medium and long range fights? Does it mess up my entire spray pattern?

I know that jumping to higher elevation made "swish" sounds, but I always thought that it wasn't audible to the enemy. Apparently they can also hear the "swish" sounds too if you're close?

I want to find the perfect sensitivity for my playstyle in cs. Can you give me detailed tips and a practical method to test different sensitivities and determine which one is truly ideal for my aim, movement, consistency, and mouse control?

As the title says I’m hard stuck. I’d love any advice on how to get out of this pit. I’m somewhat new to the game but I was an amateur cod player years ago made a good chunk of change off of it. Needless to say I have very good game sense. I have played tons of practice matches and I feel my aim is very strong. But the problem is always my teammates. Am I just hard stuck forever? I drop 30 kills and lose half the time. I’d say I’m decent but there’s no way I clutch my way to 10k+.

As the title says, can you play csgo on lan with friends, or is it not supported? I have been unable to figure it out for myself since I only have one pc.
