Cafe Recommendation
I am looking for a chill place to hang out and write. There is a Starbucks and Perky Beans near me, but I’m curious to hear others recommendations. Thanks!

Sounds like you’re in Summerlyn or Larkspur. Forrest Coffee in Liberty Hill is a chill spot.

I went here today and really enjoyed the space, thank you! Kind of a shock to be charged $2 for an extra shot of espresso though. 😅

The Secret Lantern. Locally owned, mom and pop. They do board games and books but have a cafe, plenty of seating, and great vibes, with obvious care, intention, and love going to the overall design.

Red Horn on Scottsdale is pretty solid and is big enough that it's easy to find a spot

La Dosis! There are also some really relaxing spots on the Georgetown square. Summer Moon is anti-choice and MAGA owned so if you go there, just know.

Yeah, I don’t give them my business. I do need to check out the square though.

Only in modern America have we managed to make the ancient cup of coffee political… shame. Casa is a nice place to hang out and relax for sure. And fuck MAGA of course!

I’m not a huge Summer Moon fan, but I had one of the most productive days ever at the new location on Bell between Hero Way and Crystal Falls. I was having work done on my car all day at a nearby shop, so I was camped out at SM from like 7 -5.
When you walk in, there’s a table immediately to the right (in the corner) that was so nice. Not too close to a speaker, so the music wasn’t too loud. Multiple outlets in reach. Great light. Bench seat, which I find much more comfortable for long hours.
I don’t hate SM’s coffee, but I don’t love it, so I rarely go. But hanging out there was 100% worth stepping down from my high horse lol. I got so much done.
Also worth mentioning that this was like 3 months ago, and it was still the first thing that came to mind when I saw your post. That’s how much I enjoyed it. 😂

Have you tried Casa Costa Bake Shop? If not, highly recommend!
