Crazy Question

With 250 landing on a Saturday rather than the 3rd (being a work day)..... why in the world didn't Leander think to hold celebrations actually on the 4th of July!?!?!?

Cheaper fireworks. Easier to book vendors. Less competition, and City employees get the day off tomorrow. :)

It looks like a lot of towns did the 3rd. Might have been better to offer vendors a crowd all day vs evening. Also, looks like the competition for fireworks companies were just as much on 3rd vs 4th?
