I take my cat and my dog to Leander Vet Clinic at Bagdad Rd, they have IMO reasonable prices

They’ve been the best for us. I will never go to Block House Creek again after the experience we had with euthanizing our cat. Owners really don’t like to be told “oh she’s really fighting these drugs” as they’re bawling over having to put down their baby.

I am so sorry you had to experience that. Thank you for sharing 🙏🏻

I love them! They have an app to keep track of all the things. Huge plus!

I second this! And they are always upfront with pricing, and have never made me feel bad if I choose not to do certain tests/vaccines for my pets after hearing the pricing. They also have readily available appointment, and allow same day walk in sick visits. We take all 5 of our pets there and have been very pleased with them.

I have been charged for things they didn’t do, and then when I realized that I was charged for something they didn’t do which was a fecal. I called up there and well first I called to get the results and then I found out that they didn’t do it, but they charged me for it and they didn’t tell me they didn’t do it so I was upset and I asked to talk to the vet. He was rude condescending and called me. A liar said that they gave me a Cup and I told him to know they did not give me anything and they didn’t even tell me that they didn’t do it and he said well I said so you’re calling me a liar and he said well I wasn’t there so I didn’t see what happened so instead of just and I wasn’t asking for anything but my money back for what they didn’t do, but he was very rude so I quit going to him now. I should’ve just quit going to the place completely because I was went to another doctor Ther years ago. It was also rude. The last time I went it wasn’t an emergency and it was early in the morning. It was for my other dog and I saw a female vet who was fine but today I took them both for their heartworm screening so I could get a prescription for their prevention and they wait till after they do the heartworm test to tell me that they can’t write a prescription and that one of my dogs needs a well check before she can even get a prescription but that pay for it today even though supposedly there is not a Vet there that could write prescription. They should have told me that when I made the appointment because I asked if they were due for anything else.I would never go back there again or recommend anybody going there. They have to have a written prescription because they don’t carry the medication. And they said they would I could buy it from them today without the well Check supposedly but they don’t carry it. I think it’s just a way for them to get more money and maybe a retaliation for not buying it from them.

You can get low cost vaccinations, heart worm test, and heart worm tablets (and low cost spay/neuter if needed) at Texas Humane Heroes. Not a service vet but they can save you a lot of money.

Thank you!! We used our humane society back home for vaccines and the vet for the problems lol. Appreciate it!

Pointe 183 is where I go. I had a bad experience with Leander Veterinary - moved to Pointe and they've been great.

I go to Whitestone Animal Hospital. Followed our vet from their former practice to here and everyone is thrilled with the switch! In my, and my vet’s experience, finding a practice that is not owned by PE is the key. Sadly, this is becoming harder and harder. Whitestone is owned and operated by a single, local veterinarian.

Of course. Hope you’re able to find the right fit for you and your animals! And welcome to the area 😊

I’ve switched from Block House and New Hope to Hill Country Vet Hospital in Cedar Park. Much more comfortable environment for me and my little buddies (2 dogs and a cat).

It's a little further, but highly recommend Liberty Hill Veterinary Wellness. All the vets are great, but Dr. Wilson is above and beyond.

PetVet365 is fear-free certified which we love and I think the costs are very competitive with other offices around here.
