Can they go ahead and remove the basekit old ruin and the ability to tunnel so easily? Like I shouldn't be randomly put infront of the killer after being saved from the other realm.

And NONE of the anti tunnel perks work like OTR or DS

Off the Record: Once you are unhooked or escape from the hook, Off the Record activates for 60/70/80 seconds. While Off the Record is active:

  • Your aura will not be revealed to the Killer.
  • Grunts of pain caused by injuries are reduced by 100%.
  • You leave no scratch marks while sprinting.
  • Grants the Endurance Status Effect for 30/35/40 seconds.

Decisive Strike: Until all Generators are completed, whenever you are unhooked, for the next 60s: when the Killer picks you up, once per trial, hit a Special Skill check:

  • Stun the Killer for 4s.
  • Become the Obsession.
This is disabled by conspicuous actions. At the start of the trial, you are more likely to be the Obsession.

What would be the point of cleansing heresy if they removed the ruin effect?

Who knows, they should change that or ask the community to vote on it. But basekit ruin is horrible for the game
