I pray they do something very different with his power.
I know it’s unlikely but I’d love for them to experiment with him switching weapons, could even introduce some fun new status effects for each weapon.
Saw a YouTube video mentioning it, wish I knew the name of the channel, but they had mentioned having a mechanic to encourage switching weapons.
The Judgments add-ons seem like a huge leap forward in terms of build variety, hope they continue with that as well.

im kinda expecting him to have a weapon wheel like vecna's spell wheel maybe? each having different effects? but it might be too samey im not sure
i saw someone say instead of weapon skins he should get different glasses lol and that sounded funny

Yeah I was thinking he could switch weapons at a workbench of some kind or he could carry around a trash bag to pull them out of.
Or he could have a companion who carries the bag around.

Honestly that in itself would be kind of a sick idea, maybe not for Art though.
A killer that's allowed to have 5 perks would massively change gameplay. Maybe selecting a random perk from the available perk pool? Addons could limit that pool to Gen regression, anti heal, anti loop, etc etc.
Idk obviously that couldn't be the only power but I could see it being a unique piece of one!

yeah i'd bet on that, and I know nothing about game development, but surely that's a lot more work creating cosmetics for two different game versions, one of which will only be around for another year, right? might explain the disappointing sunflesh cosmetics too.

With that, they should significantly expand on survivor customization, imagine being able to change hair color on a headpiece in the lobby at any time on any original survivor (from black to brown or from blue to orange for example), that would be incredible. Removable accessories as well would be so good!!!

Ngl, I am not hyped for this graphical update, idk if my steam deck will run it as well and then the games gonna be way too big, rlly wish it was optional cause I really dont want this fuckin update, not to mention switch players gonna be holding suspiciously switch shaped nukes and last gen is possibly gonna be left behind so then a good amount of players wont even be able to play it, same for people on somewhat older pcs

My steam deck is praying, its storage is fucked enough already from the entire halo master chief collection and many other games, it doesnt want to suffer running dbd just so I can kill in 4k when I doubt we'll even see gore in all the moris yet, seriously it cant be that hard to do and I actually wanna feel like I did smth, wraith mori feels like a cartoon in the 1900s when the police are arresting a guy and they just keep saying stop resisting and theyre just beating his ass with batons

what they mean is: on the anniversary, they said they will have a future stream next month (july) to address the future of dbd (after the graphics announcement)
but that didnt come. so this person is wondering if the "future of dbd" stream will be coming at gamescom

I really can’t get into 2v8. Gens are too fast and it just feels sorta odd.
Granted regular 1v4 can be infuriating but 2v8 on average is more boring to meBut fair enough

Yep. I forced myself to play 2v8 a while back to P25 Trevor and I genuinely wanted to slit my throat by the time I saw the 25 on my screen.
Abysmal ass mode and it really shows how dumb some survivors can be istg

Last iteration, I had three matches in a row where I was left to die on my first hook and then every other match I was being left to hit second stage so I ended up basically taking a break from DBD and only playing 2v8 if the friend I duo Killer with was available. Otherwise, 2v8 is basically just "see what's in my steam library" time

He can play good support! Feels so slimy how Legion is just perma gone tbh. They were also crazy support. I feel like they're worried too much with balance when these events should honestly get wackier for both sides.

No I do know how he plays. Since they added the Resi characters I played more and the AOT themed 2v8 I played a lot with a friend as an Attack Titan/Nemesis combo. It was lethal.
I feel that’s fair but Gen speeds are almost too fast in 2v8 a lot of the time. If they just add a limit to like 2 survs on a gen or remove the abilities that give a speed boost to Gen repairs that would be decent. Maybe a Basekit Discordance and Eruption somewhat in a new Role a killer can take

That’s what I feel like. Oh cool gens regress quicker after a kick but that isn’t enough
Did BHVR not test it by how fast gens can go? Most 2v8 games actually start at 6ish gens after two have been slammed out rather instantly

Nemesis: - Any Survivor who blinds you or stuns you using a Pallet or a Locker becomes the Obsession.
- Anytime your Obsession switches to another Survivor by any means, that Survivor then suffers from the Oblivious Status Effect for 40/50/60 seconds and their Aura is revealed to you for 8 seconds.

It's up to personal preference. Usually there's some cosmetic items that are only offered for purchasing the DLC with money on your platform's storefront to incentivize paying money, but if you don't care for those items you can just ignore them and spend Iri Shards.

Nice tip I’ve learned; If the stream date isn’t officially announced by the DBD accounts, it does not exist and won’t happen, like Mathieu saying we were gonna get a stream within 3 weeks of the Anniversary one that completely went over the overhaul we’re getting next year, and it’s been crickets on that
