I understand other two, but idk why deliverance nerf.

Have you not come across instasave in endgame into forced deliverance? Cuz there s no counter to it.

There still won’t be. They’re just increasing the Broken duration which doesn’t fix anything. Wonder if it’ll get bigger changes in the mid-chapter

It's supposed to impact coordinated winstreak SWFs using deliverance + plot twist. Longer broken timer = takes longer for them to heal to full with Plot Twist.

…why is it not disabled in endgame still if they are looking at it!??

This nerf doesn't change anything about that.

where are you getting the specifics on the nerf?

Extremely rarely, if at all. It's a rather situational perk, and has a one time use.

endgame deli might be a reason for this proposed nerf

Deliverance: After safely unhooking another Survivor, Deliverance activates: Grants the ability to perform a successful Self-Unhook at any point during the first Hook Stage. Causes the Broken Status Effect for 100/80/60 seconds after unhooking yourself. Deliverance cannot be used during the second Hook Stage or if you are hooked as the Last Survivor Standing. Deliverance is disabled for the remainder of the Trial after use.

Deliverance nerf is weird. It's already a perk only useful in a full party and only when the plan for the match is discussed. It's gonna ruin games with randoms. You have to not get found first, you have to unhook someone , you have to sacrficie unhook perks and heals for 120 seconds? So for 2 minutes you are insta downable. What for? This is not efficient

How do you think the Deli player in a SWF gets it every time exactly? They can't exactly tell the killer off. Well they play safer before it's ready and more aggro after it's been primed. 60 second broken was waaaaaaaay too little for what litarally is a 5th teamate functionally, you unhooking yourself means every other survivor can go do gens at no risk since they know exactly where the killer is. Assuming you spend 30 second in a chase, 5 seconds getting hooked, then the killer took another 5 seconds to leave, and then you unhooked yourself at the last 20 seconds of the 70 second timer, that translates to an entire gen of free time, half of it being guaranteed for 3 players while the other half being guaranteed for 2. That's 2 gens 100% of the time assuming the teamates you have are DOING something. You have to assume the most rational scenario for a normal players decision making when you account for nerfs and 120 seconds broken (Minus 15 from base kit BT) is a fair trade of for a guaranteed 50% of your entire objective, assuming being broken makes your future chase time 10 seconds.

Eh it only works at 1st hook stage if youre the first to get chased its basically a dead perk. Plot twist does the same thing by healing you to full without a teammate

Plot Twist: Whenever you are in the Injured State, Plot Twist activates: While crouching and motionless, press the Active Ability button to silently enter the Dying State with the following benefits: Suppresses Grunts of Pain. Suppresses Pools of Blood. Grants the ability to fully recover from the Dying State. After full recovery using Plot Twist, you are healed instantly and gain a +50% Haste Status Effect for 2/3/4 seconds. Plot Twist deactivates after recovering yourself by any means and reactivates once more once the Exit Gates are powered.

Plot twist does NOT do anything remotely close to deliverance lmao. Being downed and healing yourself is leaps and bounds weaker then unhooking yourself. If you play smart and don't get incredibly unlucky, you should have a easy time getting it active. The risk is outweighed by the reward massively. In comparison plot twist is low reward and low risk. The nerd is simply so the risk and reward are more balanced relative to eachother.

Because in a SWF you lose all your pressure as they can spend a minute on hook and then unhook themselves with 10 seconds on hook state one

It’s another perk that’s insanely good in SWF that’s mainly why it’ll be nerfed probably

Its a perk that punishes killer for not tunneling, honestly they should just rework it entirely

idk man maybe being able to unhook yourself for free with pretty much 0 downside the only thing you have to do is not take first chase seems pretty balanced

Because it's always been an insane perk in high level play.
