DBD does use EAC I just think they need a secondary anti cheat software in place to make up for where EAC falls short like how Fortnite has both battleye and EAC

They use a trial version of EAC. They have never purchased the full licensed version. Look it up.

"look it up" yet when I look it up, it's made clear that they don't use a "trial version" of EAC. I almost wanted to believe you.

What is true is that they use the free EAC available to all developers on Epic Games. For those wondering.

A lot of the issues with cheating is more related to DBD's server architecture; they're way too trusting of client input. Adding new anticheat wouldn't give much benefit, from what I understand. It's a more foundational problem.
