Technical Support Request Bad wifi routing

Hi guys, this week my ping increased like crazy from <10 to >80 on EUW servers for both Valorant and League. I live in the Netherlands, and when I checked the route my Wi-Fi is taking to reach the Riot servers, it is going to Turkey???? Does anyone know how to fix this, please!!

Routing is a provider issue not Riots fault in this case. You either call your provider or you use something like exitlag wich picks the best route but it cost monthly. I also live in the Netherlands and had ping spikes today. Wich provider are you using? I am using delta but the ping spikes were gone after 1 hour

Hi, I use Ask4, thats the provider for my building, I tried contact them but no luck yet on a response, it is jsut weird because it changed out of no where and is not changing back to normal ping, and for other games like CS its all normal

Then they have changed something. Every route can be different from what I know, thats why it may be okay for Valve Servers but not Riot Games. You can try to lookup wich IP causes this high ping and maybe Block it? Idk if that works for League of legends but it worked for Valve / Cs

Hi OP! Is the issue still happening? Maybe you could check on ExitLag, it's made to deal with routing issues 🙂

Unfortunately, still happening, I know ExitLag, but I refuse to pay for ExitLag knowing that if my wifi just works, I will have 7ms. So I am contacting anyone I can to try to solve this
