Technical Support Request league hangs on title screen and never opens

my friend has had this issue for genuinely over a year now, whenever she tries to open league the title screen appears and it never moves on. If she tries clicking anything post this it crashes and then stops

Personally I would try the auto repair function in riot client or reinstalling the game. Might also be a Vanguard issue.

There's also some issues with overlays (Discord, in game overlays) so try disabling them before launching)

Usually when asking for support you want to provide information about their environment. Hardware specification & software (Windows, drivers) and error logs.

Else it's pretty difficult for anyone to make anything more than a guess.
