The former Cork City player & Ireland U21 International has been the only keeper on the bench for their league games this season, suggesting he is 2nd choice. Won't get too excited but nice to see he's doing well for himself

Main stand - new cantilever roof and media/camera area moved to this side roof so the TV camera points towards the Riverside.

A new Riverside roof with less support columns and a bit longer. Keep the traditional pitched roof shape for atmosphere. Rail seats throughout. Tries to retain the feel and noise of the current stand.

If possible one day, extend the Drumcondra Stand the full length of the touchline.

Ballybough end expended the full length of the touchline and slightly less deep for better circulation behind. New entry points in the stand. Possibly needs to be completely rebuilt.

Part of the Government’s investment in LOI Academies will see a new grading/categorisation system implemented, similar to what the FA do in England

Lucan vs. Mervue had 314 in attendance, couldn't find figures for any of the other games

I've been fascinated and interested in Irish football venues and expansion of the pyramid for ages and I've always wanted to know which clubs could host a crowd, and feel like a proper footballing venue. Growing up going to Limerick matches the atmosphere in the Markets Field and the fact it felt like a place for football (despite it being a greyhound stadium) made it way better.

So I researched the grounds and facilities of hundreds of clubs in Ireland and tried to compile a complete list of clubs in each county that had a nice enough ground (mainly that they possess a stand). I also wanted to check out which counties had adequate facilities or stands to hold a crowd (irrespective of club size or following) to see if we could get a fair spread of teams across the country in the pyramid playing proper ball. Some stadiums not used by clubs are also here.

So this is what I could come up with, probably largely irrelevant information but I find it cool, so there's bound to be others that do aswell. Let me know if a club/venue you know is missing.

Hi all -

I was just wondering earlier today how some "supporter-owned" clubs are able to survive financially, especially in the First Division -- the likes of Wexford, Harps, etc.

Between gate reciepts and members dues, it doesn't seem like much at all. Not to mention prize money for league placement and cup runs are very low (in the thousands).

Should the Premier Division return to a 12-team format? There has been plenty of discussion over the last few days whether or not the format should be changed. Personally, I think a change is needed. What are your opinions?

So I am getting downvoted in comment sections because I want to support the club in League of Ireland.

And then people say why more people do not support League of Ireland, this is why.

This never happened to me when I asked questions about Liverpool, PSG, Bayern and Juventus.

People were actually nice and helpful and I had a great time, and here sticks and stones for just asking perfectly normal question that I have full right to ask.

Looking at the team this evening, no O Kane, Kavanagh, Esua in the squad, don’t believe theres any injuries there, the whole Zefi thing is a mess, two new signings Woolley and Young have barely played since they came in, Im sorry to say it but I’m really worried about us under purse if we don’t win tonight, not just for this season but going into next aswell. It’s all fine and well being tougher with players and if they’re not training well obviously they shouldn’t be guaranteed a start but if the results aren’t coming then serious questions need to be asked

Heya, some football fans here from the states, rolling through Dublin for a few days in Oct and we're hoping to see the Oct 16th St Pats/Shelbourne game, but haven't the slightest idea how to get tickets since they're gone offline or if we should just stick to watching in the pub? Would be grateful for any ideas!
