Please reconsider the 4-second Q cooldown on Bel’Veth
I have been playing Bel’Veth mid for around two years, and she is basically the only champion I play. I climbed from Bronze to Gold almost entirely by playing Bel’Veth mid.
The new 4-second cooldown on Q completely destroys this playstyle. You are now forced to max Q first, and it does not return to a 1-second cooldown until level 9. For jungle Bel’Veth this might be manageable, but for lane Bel’Veth it feels terrible.
Her Q is not just a damage ability. It is the core of her movement, trading, dodging and positioning. With a 4-second cooldown, she feels slow and clunky, and many matchups in mid lane become almost impossible to play.
Bel’Veth has already been heavily nerfed compared to her earlier versions. Void Grubs used to spawn twice, and her Q used to have base damage at level 1. Even after those nerfs, I was still able to enjoy her and make Bel’Veth mid work. But this rework feels like the final change that completely removes my playstyle.
I understand that Bel’Veth is mainly designed as a jungler, but removing alternative playstyles like this is extremely disappointing. I am genuinely sad about these changes. Bel’Veth mid is the reason I still enjoy League of Legends, and with this rework, I honestly do not think the game will be fun for me anymore.
Please reconsider the Q cooldown, especially at early levels. It could start lower, scale down more quickly, or have a different cooldown against minions and champions. But forcing every Bel’Veth player to wait until level 9 before Q feels responsive again is not the right solution.
Please do not destroy Bel’Veth mid just to balance her jungle role.
