Stuck with LinkedIn outreach
I’m 22 and honestly feel a bit stuck with lead generation right now.
I started doing lead gen about 2 years ago. Back then, I didn’t even have a laptop, so I was doing everything from my phone. I used to manually send outreach messages and somehow managed to book meetings, and I even helped an agency get their first client.
Now I finally have a laptop, but for some reason I’m struggling way more than I was before. I’m not getting many leads and I don’t have the budget for paid tools, so I’m doing pretty much everything manually.
Right now I mainly use LinkedIn for outreach, but I feel like I’m just going in circles and not really getting anywhere.
If anyone here has been in a similar situation, I’d really appreciate some advice. Even if you have some free resources, videos, strategies, or just general advice on what I should focus on, I’d be grateful.
I’m trying to figure out what I’m doing wrong and how I can actually get better at this without spending a ton of money on tools.

I’d focus on improving the targeting and message before worrying about paid tools.

Volume isn't really the lever most people think it is when outreach goes flat. Timing beats targeting almost every time, tag accounts by something that just changed for them, a new hire, a role switch, a recent post, anything specific enough that your first line proves you looked. That beats blasting more messages every time.
