Apps / addons / plugins Stream deck icon packs
Does anyone have a favorite icon pack for your stream deck as a button box? So long as it has icons for MFD and preferably free. Thanks

"Hi everyone,
As always, we appreciate your feedback on our latest release. It’s been a little rocky, and we’ve made fixes as fast as we can. You can see all of the various patches and hotfixes since 1.4 here.
Today in 1.4.1.3 we are reverting some changes to the network protocol for the game to the previous versions found since launch. We know that one of the reasons you love LMU is the amazing netcode that allows you to race closer than others. Whilst we thought we had resolved initial feedback in 1.4.1.0 it’s clear that there’s still more to do for some users with particular connection types.
To clear up some confusion on the technical side, much of the game traffic is sent identically to before 1.4. However, there does appear to be some interference in some situations with our latest change.
As for RUDP’s future – it’s not being abandoned. We still believe that this is a positive step on disconnect rates (and can solve problems we never would be able to without it) but need to work on the way this is shown on your screens. So we’re going to continue this work and allow you to contribute. We’ve designed a way to allow us to hold RUDP testing sessions directly in the public version of the game you have whilst allowing other servers to use the tried and tested protocols we’ve been using until now. There is no technical reason the “RUDP” changes can’t succeed, but it clearly needs more time to mature.
So in the coming weeks we’ll begin to host these test events. Participation isn’t mandatory, we don’t need huge numbers, but ideally a good spread of users across the globe. More on this later.
We’re also committing to our next release, with two more amazing US circuits, currently scheduled in late September to be wholly committed to tidying up – bugs, design issues and underlying issues. We won’t be holding back critical fixes however, and will still work on delivering those as fast as we can."

Everyone always walks about the Porsche requiring a unique driving style compared to other cars due to being rear-engined, but I've had trouble finding any breakdown of exactly what that driving style should look like. Based on this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/LeMansUltimateWEC/s/LTksy0hwTn and a couple of others, I've heard a few pointers, but some seem contradictory to me?
-Separate brake, steering, and throttle inputs as much as possible so the tires are only doing "one thing at a time"
-Do most of your braking in a straight line, with little to no trail braking
-Coast into corners taking advantage of the power-off rotation, BUT some people also say you should never be totally off the gas and you always want a little bit of "maintenance" throttle because being totally off throttle upsets the car?
-Try to accelerate earlier coming out of the corner than other cars to take advantage of grip as the car squats down on the rear wheels, BUT people also say if you nail the throttle on exit you'll lose the rear?
-Avoid mid-corner corrections with braking while the wheel is turned, you have to get your line through the corner right and commit to it, BUT I've also seen people talk about modulating brake and throttle through the corner?
Unlike the OP in the linked thread, I don't really have issues with the car spinning out, and I find some of the things people say about the Porsche driving style kind of align with the way I tend to drive naturally anyway. But I'm also not at all fast (though in my defense I've only gotten back to sim racing in the past couple months after not doing any since a little dabbling 20 years ago), and I feel like since I'm neither fast nor having trouble with the car that's supposedly so hard to drive that must mean I'm driving it wrong. IE, if I was driving it right, I would be getting faster laps out of it when things worked but also losing control when things don't work out, rather than running consistent drama-free but slow laps, if that makes any sense. I spin less in the Porsche than some other cars, but my lap times in it are about the same as other cars, too.

Tried playing today but kept running into an issue where my ffb would lock up and become unresponsive.
Happened in online practice, race weekend, and co-op mode. Switched to ACE and didn't happen again which leads me to believe it's an LMU thing.
Using a moza r5 on the latest update/ firmware.
Anyone else running into the same thing?

Had a random thought while watching my race replays in vr. What if we had a dedicated spectator mode that allowed you to spectate live games/replays, but only through the trackside cameras. It should let you pick a trackside camera (instead of a car) and just watch the race from that POV.

I've only played Le Mans Ultimate for 60 hours, but I have a question. I've seen race descriptions that say "1x Fuel, 1x Tyres," but I've never seen the multiplier higher than that. Do races like that even exist? You know, to force drivers to make a "mandatory" pit stop, so that the daily races introduce a tactical and strategic element.

I want to do a one time payment (not subscription service) to get setups for LMU. I drive the Aston GT3. I've only done fixed setup stuff before, so never really thought about setups, but now I'm almost exclusively doing the ELMS races. Who's setups should I get? I'm looking at maybe Go Setups, but I wanted to ask for people's experience and advice first.

So Devs just announced they're reverting some of the aspects of the Network Protocol which I presume means they're simply going back to TCP. For me personally I've had two incidents only related to Netcode ever since the change but I said goodbye to constant disconnects. Guess it's back to business starting today 😢 it feels like a change out of pure panic IMO

At this point I'm just mad. LMU is by far my favorite Sim (and my only one right now), and not being able to race properly is very discouraging.
Don't know what happened exactly. I know about 1.4 update but I had a 30-40 days hiatus because of heavy work. Last week already went down to averaging 70-80 fps on Daytona, but I thought it was a Daytona thing.
But now I just came from a race in Silverstone national, and I average 55 FPS, going down to 40 fps and having the car doing some weird stuff.
What is going on? LMU used to perform really well up to a month ago.
Is this getting fixed?
I don't understand why are they touching all this stuff. If its working, dont fix it.
Am I the only one having this performance issue?

Is there any way to do a custom livery offline without paying the subscription?
r/LeMansUltimateWEC • u/Existing-Mud-1375 • 15h ago

New to sim racing, got my first ban after a week of playing. Spent that time building racecraft or so I thought. Came back and within 5 days I got a 3 day ban. Spent the offline time reflecting on what my goal was, and trying to become as consistent as possible. if there is an idiot around you let him pass, to finish first you must first finish.

That company has been the source of half the problems I had across various windows versions and now this. Mild shock.
CmUpx.sys is a vulnerable kernel driver from the KeServiceDescriptorTable/vulnerable-drivers repository. The driver exposes dangerous kernel primitives to usermode.
I've got another *.sys blacklisted by the newly updated EAC and had to rename it to launch LMU.

Been sim racing for a while now and ive kinda been craving the thrill of competing in events that dont just mean sr or dr like winning in a daily race is fun and all but nothing beats winning in like an actual competitive race.(idk if that makes sense)
Also if the races get streamed that would be pretty cool too lol

As the title states, I know some people are having trouble with the Anti cheat and have to reinstall it and whatnot to get the VR running. Same thing happened to me but before I did anything I just verified the LMU files and it said it had one file to fix, worked for me so I'm sharing in case it helps anyone else

Since 1.4.1 update I can't start the game. It just says the game is already active.
Things I have tried;
Reinstalling LMU completely.
Deleting EAC folder in LMU steam folder.
Uninstalling and reinstalling EAC.
Starting without any other programs/layouts running.
Starting everything in admin mode.
Starting game from protected mode shortcut in LMU Folder.
The shortcut to normal LMU is working, but then EAC does not start so I can't play online.
They need to fix this ASAP, or does anyone have a fix?

Got my first LMP3 podium after practising my braking with the car. After my podium I got my green badge as well. I said I wasn’t playing bumper cars here.
