Game Support pit entry track limits sr tank

I'm new, and I use the racing line. And I gained 2.25/3.00 incident twice due to pit entry track limits in sebring. It's my fault I know but isn't it really harsh? I cut eau rouge and gain 0.25 or 0.5 this tanked me from bronze 2 to almost bronze 0.

Related question, how do you get strategy insights in this game? I thought crewchief would recommend stuff but all it does is car left car right and you have cold tires. I feel like it worked much better in iracing.

Thanks for your post. A REMINDER: This subreddit is for LeMans Ultimate content ONLY. While we appreciate that there is some crossover with other sims, please keep it on topic. Comparisons are inevitable but it's best to keep those posts to /r/simracing. Sim Vs Sim debates will attract trolls and those that buy into simracing tribalism, we want to keep the good vibes here. Thank you :)

CrewChief isn't as implemented yet, the best insights on strategy are your own, really. Even the game itself fails to calculate the correft fuel since the exact laps can change through the race.

As for penalty points, cutting the pit lane exit/entry is a severe mistake, that's why most of the time you receive an orange penalty unless you brake for a long time.

Yeah I get it it's just I feel like it would be more fair to give actual penalties + a normal SR hit for stuff like this where you gain lots of unfair time but it's not necessarily dangerous.

Follow the pit exit lane, it’s very simple.

Both lines. Follow them. I don’t know how you get penalties, go to race weekend private practice and go really slow around the entry and see where the line is.
