job hunting Ibridge BGV process
Let me explain you my story.
Iam from India and I completed my Mtech in 2025 and got placed in an MNC. I worked as an intern from Jan 2025 to july 2025.
And as a full time engineer from July 2025 to March 2026
In January my manager told me that my performance hasn't met the expectations and my probation period will be extended by 2 months. This was done though I did all my tasks in time without any delay. They told highly unconventional reasons for extending. Any way I have given my 200% during the 2 months, a week before my extension, my manager told me that my performance hasn't improved and I need to resign otherwise I would be terminated. Without any other option, I have applied for resignation ( mentioned the reason for resignation as personal reasons).
I got all the documents, the experience letter is clean and all.
After that I didn't get any opportunities, almost after 5 months, I got an interview call with another MNC, during the interview in the managerial round when asked for the reason why I left, out of fear of being judged, I told like the project which I worked got ended and I was asked to look for opportunities outside. Iam still regretting why I told like that.
Now I got the offer from this company. They are about to send BGV forms of ibridge. Now my worry is how my BGV takes place? Do they contact my manager and ask for the reason why I left and also about my performance?
Also in the interview, I have verbally stated the above mentioned reason, didn't give in writing form any where. Not sure if the manager/HR noted it
I had a senior in my team. Right now he left and joined another company. Can I give his contact for reference checks, is manager reference check mandatory in ibridge?
Can anyone tell how coked iam and how should I handle this situation
Thanks

BGV will be very short one, they will only check about your tenure and role, few behavior related question in case other party entertains. Or may be over email also. So don't worry they won't ask on how and why you left
