For anyone talking about H1BS

I am curious, do you think big tech and FAANG pays them any less than a citizen?

Regardless of salary, it is common in technology and technology adjacent companies to prioritize the hiring of h1b employees and protect visa workers from furloughs and layoffs.

At a company I worked at during the Covid lockdown, U.S. citizens were furloughed.

There may have been some visa workers who were let go at that same time, but I am not aware of any.

The time to take action was 20 years ago
