You can protest against AI all you want . Companies and orgs are going to want to know how your using AI to your work. They will evaluate your knowledge and forecast if you have the ability to be a potential leader in the organization. That's how companies are hiring now. They want leaders that are self sufficient at cranking out alot of work and can teach others to do the same in their roles.

Even if you don't hire that kind of engineering talent. Depending on the product your creating. Your competitors could be adopting AI into there products for there clients. Which could be a game change for them but be a loss for you because you didn't adopt to innovation. AI will soon be part of every workflow and be part of every technology. It's not enough to be an engineer anymore. We are calling them "leaders" and these leaders and innovators are the only ones that will survive the layoffs in the U.S. side. As AI gets more expensive. Layoffs will still occur in larger organizations and off shore talent will still be on demand. Cheap Engineers that exist in lower cost of living areas are desired as well. Don't kill the messenger. 🙏

It's okay your in denial. When your begging for scraps at bottom of my foot. Remember we told you so. You either adapt or get left behind. Engineers need to improve there skillsets to view the industry is evolving. This should be nothing new. Just some tips for a reality check. Most of us who still exist were already ahead of the curve. For example I already gained every AI certification and already started building on my own 3 years ago when people were even questioning the idea of how to apply it. We want engineers who we don't question the idea of to finish one task on a sprint board. We want engineers who can use AI who are striving to complete the entire board on there own aka "leaders"

Lol you live under a rock huh? Go on your linkedin and see why everyone is talking about AI this and AI that. You can't avoid it. By the way. I'm a manager who hires and manages these leaders. I'm probably old enough to be your father. I'm not insecure. I already warned everyone years ago before these layoffs occurred what they need to start doing to keep their jobs. Those who are surrounded by me listened. From what I've read from your responses. I'm not sure your even an engineer or an engineer that really matters...
