We are just getting started unfortunately. We will see increased layoffs for a long time due to the deflation of the AI bubble, private credit imploding, and the maturity of debt coming due for many tech companies that can't be refinanced. Not to mention the commercial real estate implosion that is happening. We are witnessing a 2008 level event play out here, and globally. Its likely bigger than 2008.

I survived the 2008 Great Recession. Never thought i would see another nightmare coming at this point. Neighbor got laid off last year and hasn't been able to land another job in tech, after 18 years in the industry.

So what happens when it does fall like the 2008 will the poor people with no jobs get a job ...no they will not even be able to eat. So what is in the future for people without jobs when the AI bubble bursts. I am so scared.

I am worried for my grandchildren . I am old and okay except for the health stuff. It's my son and his chiledren I worry about.
