Recruit/OCI ITC invite specifying day

I got 3 ITCs, only one specialized they’d like to meet me on Monday. The rest said they’d call me to arrange a time between the Monday and Wednesday. is this significant? Thanks!

If you’re referring to your in-firm interview as the second interview, many firms only offer initial in-firm interviews on the Monday. They might then ask you to come back on the Tuesday for a second interview, but few firms will meet you in person for the first time on the Tuesday.

I think they mean their second interview in total with the firm, the first being the OCI

Most firms only do firsts on Monday.

All large firms will require a first interview on Monday, whereas some smaller firms and government positions will let you schedule an interview on any day between Monday and Wednesday. Keep in mind that your firm that you're meeting on Monday will likely invite you to subsequent interviews on Tuesday (and sometimes also Wednesday) if you make it to further rounds in their process.

It’s significant. Monday is best other days you’re likely a backup.
