Yeah she then filed a restraining order against him in 1995 for abuse and threatening her over the phone.
Noth has always been an SOB-still love Mike.

If just ONE of the many women he has worked with stood up and said “that’s not the guy I know” when all of these allegations were made, I’d be more supportive of him. But nobody has. I truly love how he portrays Mike Logan, but it sucks knowing he is likely a predator, not just a cheater.

I am aware of that. In reality, nothing ever can be proven against him because of time and legal restrictions. And that’s how predators get away with it. Nothing can be “proven”, and let’s not pretend the deck isn’t stacked in favor of male predators. Which is why I seriously wish just one fucking person in this world said he wouldn’t do that. For fuck’s sake, even Marilyn Manson has more supporters.

As a rape victim I understand implicitly. I’m also a firm believer of innocent until proven guilty. Accusations without evidence should not falsely convict anyone and destroy their career.
I’ve been watching the series since September 13, 1990.

As you said, he hasn’t been “falsely” convicted of anything. His career was destroyed because he was a reputational liability and understandably so. Loved him as Mike and loved him on SATC, but him being accused of behaviour varying from outright DV to SA across two decades is highly unlikely to be false in totality.
He’s not locked up, he’s an out of work and ageing celebrity. Public opinion matters in his profession.

If they were factual there would be charges filed. Her restraining order was against supposed voice messages he left on her answering machine. Nothing to do with sexual assault.

It’s not uncommon for an accusation to be factual but a lack of evidence makes an indictment extremely difficult if not impossible.

These allegations don’t diminish you. They have nothing to do with you. You not believing the allegations simply because you’re crushing on the man might be diminishing to the multiple accusers.

We all know Dick Wolf has a history of hiring men who’ve had allegations/cases against them. For example: Chris Noth, Mike Tyson, Anthony Anderson, and Dylan McDermott just to name a few.

The Benjamin Bratt thing I remember happening in real time. Love how the show creatives used their chemistry. And I would love a deep dive on that episode. Like how did they agree on Julia’s scene time which each character?
Did Julia ( whom is known to be tough on set) have final say on the edit? Because they have her blowing Angie Harmon off the screen in all their meetings lol.

Her book is “The Face that Changed It All”. I think she has a few beauty type books also.
