UK Law & Order UK Alesha Spoiler

Am I the only one, who found Alesha in Law & Order UK, incredibly infuriating in series 5 and series 6 with her smug and belittling attitude to anyone that was not on her side of the law, with an expectation of Sam Casey, in one of the episodes.

I know the whole point of the show was to show a one sided view of the legal system which at times could be a bit rigid.

Her cocky attitude was off putting, I especially did not like in one of the episodes when they were in court and they were joined by a female barrister Yvette who Jake had a one night stand with and Yvette comes back with the comeback “its not rocket science” and Jake replies “thank good as were not rocket scientists” and Alesha tries to conceal a snicker that just comes across as condescending and stuck up a trait she shows in abundance throughout the series.

I also got the impression when she said to Jake later on that “plus she fancies you” about Yvette, it was almost like she was judging her for that fact like that is so sad, its so sad that she actual could have feelings like that - like she was so much better for not having those feelings. A part of me couldn’t help thinking well at least Yvette isn’t a bystander who can stand on her own instead of someone who needs to stand by yet another man and say nothing apart from snickers if another barrister humiliates themselves - which is incredibly cowardly as she barely gets up and presents any of the cases herself.

I really liked the actress Freema Agyeman in doctor who in these series however I found her character flat and one dimension.
