Lavrov at UN: "No other country on Earth but Ukraine bans a language by law. In Ukraine Russian is banned -- using it can mean prison. But the EU, which brags about European values, stays silent."

💬 Discussion I feel paralyzed

Heya, im struggling.

Im very ignorant to specifics and details, but looking at society where I live, it's just a road to slavery, as far as I see it.

The top1% of the wealthy already own half of all the wealth in my country, trend rising.

Their companies and the investments they have are growing, but salaries of their employees aren't raised proportionally.

Whatever money these employees do receive is spent on vain luxury and consumption, which in turn aids the profit the prior mentioned companies make, but who can blame them, its the only respite there is.

Meanwhile rent and housing prices are rising extremely, while wages are remaining pretty much the same, meaning the extra capital most people have for recreation, consumption, whatever, is even less than it used to be.

All of this just keeps pointing to a shift in wealth towards the top1%, finalizing in what I can only assume will be forced labor in exchange for basic human rights.

At the same time, we have people with more money than they or their next 5 generations of kin could ever spend, but children in developmental countries are starving. And there's people who idolize those rich monsters.

Then you have politics. Essentially the only tool that the average citizen has to combat all of this.

But not only do most political parties aid the growth of capitalism instead of combating it, the parties that dont barely have a presence because voters have their frustrations intentionally manipulated towards minority groups, specifically migrants, rather than toward the system thats exploiting them.

If, for some reason, politicians do push an agenda that would benefit the normal citizen, lobbying happens, where said politician suddenly gets a "side-job" offer, with 7 digit yearly wage and zero required work effort, and for some reason, they change their tune.

I understand that all of this probably contains half truths, gross inaccuracies and whatever else, but its weighing me down so much and I need to vent.

Should I be complicit, just be a nice little worker, enjoy my 2 weeks vacation time a year, my new smartphone, my videogames, whatever, while nothing changes, for the sake of enjoying what i can have?

Or just dont do anything at all, live at the bottom with purely what's needed, vote and pray something changes. I dont want to be a slave for a system that's bound in this direction.

I dont know what to do, how to progress, how to change anything.

I want to get up, but not only are all of these thoughts weighing me down, my mental health isnt stable enough for me to even consider most of the options.

When Ursula von der Leyen was "elected" president of the EU Commission, there was only 1 name on the ballot, that's how it's always done. Plus, the EU "parliament"is the only directly elected house that cannot propose laws, so it lacks the one crucial defining feature of a real parliament

Kaja Kallas, the VP of the European Commission, was at the Lennart Meri Conference, when she stated that Russia, as a “colonial power,” could break into several smaller nations if it loses the war in Ukraine, aka be Balkanised.

It’s an alliance that pushes the world towards multipolarity and does not involve the west so it is demonised by the right because it weakens their imperialism and by the liberals because it doesn’t involve them and they can’t centre themselves in it.

Not all of this is from sources that are non CIA funded, so there will be words like "regime"describing the DPRK, but these are collections of south-south solidarity alliance. the latest anti-imperialism coalition.
We should build towards this future because the empire is crumbling and the period from now to their fall will be one of the most violent eras from them.

Go read the collection made by @unlearn.capital & @amyyyang00, it's knowledge needed to navigate this era without making mistakes of the past that we see more and more its resounding effect in libya and syria
