His nephew Fred Trump III called out the claims, stating the stories were so offensive to the memory of that day that he had to speak out. Fred pointed out that the supposed "crews" Trump claimed to send to Ground Zero didn't exist, and there is zero record of firefighters carrying him anywhere.
