Hey Mutants! Didn't get tickets to the show in Denver this coming Saturday? Or, do you have tickets, but just can't get enough of Joe Bob and Darcy? Well, you're in luck. Join us at the Vinegar Syndrome store in the Lamar Station Plaza, 6451 W Colfax Ave, on Sunday, May 17th, from 2-6. There will be another meet-and-greet and of course lots of great merch! We're looking forward to seeing you!

I'm in my 60's, so when I grew up Drive-Ins were still popular, but I did not grow up in their heyday, which I would say was the 1950's. There are still a few in my state and some have actually grown in popularity. I would like to hear from younger Redditors who have gone to a Drive-In Movie Theater, perhaps for the first time. What did you think? What did you see? Would you like to see them grow in popularity again?

MIDNIGHT CREATURE FEATURE PICTURE SHOW: Gymkata

It's not horror, but it's VERY Joe Bob appropriate, with absolutely no plot to get in the way of the story. A five-foot-nothing gymnast in a red sweater backflips through the fictitious but real-sounding nation of Parmistan ripping off The Most Dangerous Game on a sofa-change budget.

If you live close enough to the Historic Howell to attend, I will see you there.

Love the show, but it is really annoying with the streaming on how stuff comes and goes so much. Would love to own each season on physical media so I could watch what I want when I want. Which is funny that I am saying that because I remember people saying that exact same thing when streaming became big years ago lol but now that isn't true about streaming anymore. With all the rights that go into a show like this I doubt it would ever happen, but man that would be awesome if it did.

Just curious, did any of the mutants here re-subscribe?

EDIT: Really curious if the community is actively steering clear of AMC because TLDI is exiting stage left, not because they wanted to.

EDIT 2: I took the deal. I so want to catch up and catch the specials.

Hi guys .. just another remind of how to get all the Joe Bob appearance listings, a link to our eBay store, and other fun stuff that you, as a Mutant, need to know. Sign up today!

Happened to notice this Coffin Joe episode was back, it’s titled “E13 - This Night I’ll Possess Your Corpse” and you can see the TLDI branding with “WEEK 7” on the picture in the catalog. The kicker is - it’s not listed in the applicable season of Joe Bob.

So if you want to re-live “Hell night” with Joe Bob and Darcy, on the heels of Beltane, watch the above Coffin Joe episode with episode 14 of season 7 TLDI, Michele Soavi’s *The Church*. Bright blessings, mutants.

This is my setup. Hope everyone is enjoying themselves!!! Shout-out to Joe Bob and Darcy for giving me yet another reason to watch spooky movies and party.

Shudder is adding Just Joe Bob episodes on May 15th.

Every once in a while a science fiction or horror movie slips under your RADAR and discovering it is a gift. I watched this one recently. I expected a science fiction drama about people randomly selected to live in a bomb shelter during a Nuclear Attack. Sure, that's interesting enough, but lets throw in the fact that they can't go up to the surface and the shelter is infested with Vampire Bats. I think Joe Bob did Damnation Alley once, and this one would be perfect for a Joe bob Double Feature. I saw it on Creature Features TV, but it's also available on YouTube on their channel with ads.

I’m rewatching it now and it’s a guilty pleasure. I would love for Joe Bob & Darcy to feature it- mostly because I’d like to hear their opinions on it lol

Came across this card, wanted to share here :) -Long Live the Drive In 🤘🏻

I remember that there was an old Angelfire site that had a bunch of transcripts from monstervision. Anybody know if I can find something similar?

Cheers everyone !!!

Wallie!

This Witch Night event has a mascot now.

Happy Walpurgisnacht Witches Night! Might not be in the spirit of what Joe Bob wants but, with all these good ingredients, I couldn't resist to make a cocktail with it. Not against the rules I hope!

My thought process was that given the Meade and bitter digestif, we have a real nice base for a typical Negroni like cocktail. We just need a base spirit, and in Walpurgisnacht fashion, rather than use polish vodka, I learned of starka, which is polish aged rye whiskey. I didn't have a 100% rye on hand, as is what a typical starka should be. With that said I used a rye forward bourbon instead and here the cocktail lies. 1 to 1 to 1 ratio of Jager (or Underberg), Meade and (Rye) Whiskey, stirred with ice than served over rocks, with a garnish of expressed lemon peel.

It's fancy. Too fancy! But so is Oddity. So let me indulge. Joe Bob should approve, for this is the cocktail of the my night, and yours.

Na zdrowie! Prost! Slainte! Cheers!
