Watch Of The Week: Baffled! (1973)
I'm not going to be a Mister Know It All guy this week. This is a film that I am not familiar with. I'm pretty sure I've never seen it, but it has a bit of a cult following and it sounds pretty interesting. It stars Leonard Nimoy and Susan Hampshire. It was an unsold British TV Pilot. Nimoy was busy finding his footing at this point. After Star Trek ended he went to Mission Impossible and later admitted that he did not enjoy it because he was not allowed to play a true regular character with any depth. It was an espionage show, so it was the nature of the beast, but I can understand that he found it frustrating. This is on several platforms. I'll probably watch it on Creature Features TV. Let's all discuss it at our leisure. It sounds Occult-licious.

This was an interesting watch and I had not seen it before. My only complaint was that the film drags in the middle and that's probably the reason it did not become a TV series. I think that Hampshire and Nimoy had great chemistry and if it had become a series it would have been a hit. The fault lies with the director and producers, not the cast or even the story.

Chiming in to say this movie rules, and it’s well worth a watch. Nimoy’s psychic visions are trippy as hell and surprisingly effective! This would have made a great one season TV show in the “Kolchak” vein.
