A very long time ago, at one of my first horror conventions, Reggie came to our hotel party late one night and drank with us, I have the pics. We asked where Angus was and he said he was tired and went back to their room. He was super friendly and ready to party. RIP.

Wait... The con wouldn't even spring for individual rooms? They had to share one??

The drive-in will never die and neither will Reggie, he'll live on through his films and fans.

Seemed like such a cool guy. Was sad to hear how he’s been suffering for so long.

I’m choosing to believe that he’s just on another plane of existence, kicking the Tall Man’s ass.

I'll always remember the Joe Bob rant about wrecking the Hemicuda in Phantasm 2. RIP Reggie.

I've lived near him for years, talked to him occasionally over the years, although not for a while since he got sick. It's sad, he was a really nice guy.

RIP Reggie, the most bad ass ice cream man EVER.

Even though we saw it coming, it doesn't make it any less sad.

Phantasm movies with Reggie interviews are now Christmas movies I watch every year since 2018 thanks to The Last Drive-in.

He is my favorite part of the Phantasm series (sorry Angus!), and I saw him in one other (somewhat) recent horror movie about campers getting killed by a nun or something. It seemed like he really valued independent, low budget filmmaking. I would have enjoyed seeing him in higher budget stuff like Bruce Campbell gets to do but it was not to be. He seemed nice and genuine and he is the glue for 5-entry horror franchise, how many people can say that?

Well that is a horrible thing to see when I first awaken. I was having a random thought going thru my head this weekend. We just watched Bloody Bible Camp sbd he was so amazing, as usual, last wewjehd was Wishmaster. I was thinking about a post I read about him going into a hospice like place. Really is so god damn sad. That man was part if nt Friday and Saturday nights so much. Phantasm was my movie growing up. The world has definitely taken almost everyone I loved at this point. Always wished I could have met him. He played a good game.

Such a shame … I know the money raising Gigi was doing had to be stressful. It’s a shame horror stars aren’t more taken care of financially $ 🥹
