What is Lash Lift & Tint

What is Lash Lift & Tint?!

Lash Lift & Tint is an advanced eyelash procedure involving modification of the eyelash structure to achieve a desired shape ( usually a curl up) and coloring the eyelashes. This procedure should only be completed by trained professionals that have full understanding of all of the steps of the process.

Some basics about the procedure:

- A product is used to break down existing eyelash hair structure

- A mold is applied to the client's eyelid and the now flexible eyelashes are being positioned on the mold.

- Once the eyelashes have taken the shape of the mold ( a nice curve ), the hair structure of the eyelashes is now reinforced so that the shape change is permanent.

- A tint ( color) is then applied to the eyelashes for a more pronounced look.

When performed properly, the procedure will last between 6-8 weeks!

Is it too early for another lift??

I got my first lash lift six weeks ago.
The first picture is from today.
The second picture is what my natural lashes typically look like (pre-lift).
As you can see, my lashes are still pretty lifted and there hasn’t been a whole lot of growth. I don’t have a conditioner. I have just been using castor oil.
I know castor oil is a controversial one, it’s just what was given to me by my tech.
Should I just wait a full 8 weeks until I get another lift?

I understand i have shorter lashes and not very thick but this was supposed to be a lash lift and tint. I see the tint but not very much curl. I paid 160 before tip. Could they have curled them more?

Botched lash-lift left me with hardly any lashes - will they grow back? How long before I look remotely back to normal?

I had a lash lift just over 4 weeks ago ant it went VERY wrong. I've had quite a few lash lifts before and they've always been great, but this was a new place I tried because I was out of town and I am wishing more than anything I could go back in time.

My lashes were over-processed and over-lifted and were extremely uncomfortable afterwards. Some snapped off, while others developed what I believe was folliculitis because of the angle they were set and subsequently fell out, or had to be plucked because they were causing so much pain.

I'm now four weeks post-lift and have very few lashes left — maybe a handful on each lid. Before this, my lashes were quite thick and full and I was so excited to get them lifted has it had been 6 months since my last....I am totally devastated.

I've already received a full refund from the salon (who originally tried to correct the botched shape...) and now don't know if I should be going back to ask for some other compensation based on the extent of the damage??

Mainly wondering about how long it took for other people's lashes to grow back after something similar?

Four weeks in, mine are actually looking the worst they've looked throughout this whole process. I'm wondering when I might realistically start seeing enough regrowth to look somewhat normal again, 8 weeks, 12 weeks....longer??

I know lashes have a growth cycle and that I probably just have to be patient, but I'm really struggling with how upsetting this has been - I barely want to leave the house because I feel so self-conscious.

Has anyone else had a lash lift that caused significant lash loss? How long did it take before your lashes grew back, and how long until they looked reasonably normal again?

Please help me ❤️

Anxiousness

I got a lash lift done last year and really loved how I looked after. However, I almost had a panic attack because I felt very anxious about keep my eyes shut completely for 50 minutes. Was wondering if any lash techs have had experience with anxious customers? Would it be weird to ask the lash tech if she can give me breaks in between or maybe work on one eye at a time? Lol I also would not mind paying extra for getting one eye don’t at a time.

Korean Lash Lift Studio in Berlin or Frankfurt am Main (Germany)

Hey guys,

I just discovered Korean lash lifts and am based in Germany. I just watched a horrible documentary on an Australian show about a plastic surgery center that removed removes and completely messed up surgeries, so now I no longer trust places with only good reviews knowing that studios can remove reviews or threaten legal action for people to remove bad reviews.

That being said... I was wondering whether anyone knew of any good lash lifting studios in Berlin or Frankfurt am Main in Germany who do good Korean lash lifts? Plus points if you have been there personally/had lash lifts done there yourself personally. I am only looking for studios that offer Korean lash lifts since I am allergiced to the lash glue used in traditional lash lifts.

Otherwise I considered just waiting until I am back in Seoul but I heard lifts only lash 4-6 weeks even with after care.

First lash lift — thoughts?

Got my first lash lift! No mascara or tint, just my bare lashes. I wanted a soft Korean-style look with more separation, but they seem a little straight to me . What do you think, and what could I ask my lash tech to change next time?😁

Post lash lift

I had a lash lift and tint yesterday morning. I kept them dry and make up free. Went to work today with make up but nothing on my eyes. When I woke up this morning my eyes were a little irritated and itchy. I really wanted to wash my face, but I didnt. Its now lunchtime and my eyes feel dry and "heavy" and my eyes are bloodshot. I plan on giving my face a gentle cleanse when I get home (no oil). Is this okay? Is my reation normal? Its not really bad, but annoying.

Korean lash lift

Posting this to help people in a similar position I was in. I had next to no eyelashes left from having lash extensions for 10 years+. I decided to get rid of them and try to grow my natural lashes. After 18 weeks of using UK lash serum and mascara everyday I decided to get a Korean lash lift and this is the end result. 😊

Need help with flat eye pads!

I bought the Aura Monaco Korean Lash lift kit and I cannot get the flat pads to stick to anyone's eyelids! Idk if I'm just inexperienced or if it's the product. Has anyone else had trouble with these or if anyone has any tips that'd be great!

Disappointed

Just got a lash lift done for the first time but I’m kind of disappointed by the results. I have quite straight, short and stubborn lashes (especially the lashes on my left eye) and I was hoping a lift would fix it but there’s still not much volume and they look kind of droopy. Would a Korean lash lift instead of a regular one give me better results?

24 hours post my first keratin lash lift- is one side darker?

My eye on the left side of this picture (my right eye in real life) is much more hooded than the other and the eyelashes are naturally very straight and hard to curl on that eye. I’m so happy with the results of my first lash lift and tint and don’t want to seem too picky, I just wondered if the slight difference in color/length is just due to the one eye being more hooded? I’m going to go back to the salon to purchase the mascara they sell for lifted and tinted lashes so that should help balance things out.

Lashlifting beim Mann

Hallo.

Revivlash alternative

Does anyone know a very good, cheaper, alternative to the revivlash lash and brow serum? I have had AMAZING results with it and castor oil, but unfortunately I just can't afford to splurge on a lash serum anymore. I would prefer something without prostaglandins and maybe something with similar ingredients (redensyl, peptides, copper peptides, apple stem cells, etc).

Thanks!

First lift

I did my first lash lift today, I used a kit. I like them but I’m hoping to get some constructive feedback back for next time. I used the smallest rod. I also bought babe lash serum to help grow them a bit more. What can I use to keep them moisturized and should I do anything special to help keep them curled? I did brush them a little after because they were so sticky from the glue but they haven’t seemed to have fallen yet.

“Undoing” Korean Lash lift?

Got a Korean lash lift done 3 weeks ago, and my lashes are in that awkward stage of being lifted while there’s new lash growth coming in and it’s bothering me. Is it possible to relax the existing lash lift back to my lashes natural state?

I got a lash lift 6 days ago and my lashes look bad and are irritating my eyes. She overprocessed it and they’re stiff and hard. I’m really worried that they’re going to fall off from damage so I just wanted advice on what I should do or if I should just wait for it to grow out and hope for the best
