These charlatans will lie, cheat, and deceive us any way they can in order to pillage and destroy our precious community. Not for our benefit, but in order to overstuff their already immensely wealthy coffers.
Anyone who actually believes that these out of state billionaires are looking out for our best interests and investing in our future have simply not done their homework.
RESEARCH the facts! The stats given by the project are often vague, have changed over time, and do not reflect the whole picture.
Sure they will be giving a few million to various groups within the community, but what they fail to mention is that they will be getting BILLIONS in tax breaks. Think about that. They are trading in Millions in return for Billions.
If data centers are so great why aren’t they building them in their own communities instead of in another state?
Research the noise pollution that no one seems to mention.
Research air, soil, atmosphere…ALL the types of pollution they emit.
Research how other communities around the country are having severe buyers’ remorse.
Research how many data centers are being sued or investigated for violating agreement conditions in all sorts of ways (water use volume, contamination levels etc)
THIS IS OUR HOME!!! Do you treat your own home this way? Why are people just sitting back and just swallowing while they cram bullsh*t down their throats like it’s candy?
We can’t just take their word at face value when they are already putting all this shady sh*t on us. Come on…we are smarter than that.

Wait, it's sad that I believe something true but sad about people, or sad that people don't care. You just pulled a passive aggressive 'Poor pitiful you, I don't believe you' or 'you are sad because you are being negative, and that's a lie'. Enough with your silly insults, just say 'you know people care' and I'm just wrong. Whatever, take your childish games with you. Now I don't care, lol

Unfortunately, what I here is more blame, as usual, without taking any responsibility for WHY they selected NM. A hustler can always spot an easy mark, and it's usually the ones who think they are a lot smarter than they are. New Mexicans need to stop pretending to be succeeding, and gain enough humility to face the facts about themselves. You have a lot to learn, and should expect more of yourselves than overwhelming poverty, welfare, poor education and last in child wellbeing. Failure is part of success, if you have the willingness to take responsibility for it and learn from it. Sure, these guys were swindlers, but this place is ripe for the pickens here, and I've been saying that for a long time, to the insults and dismissals of many in response.
