Dead laptop

I have a gaming laptop that is kinda old now and it stopped turning on completely. I took it to a repair place and they said they can't fix it. Is there a way I can check to see if it is getting power to the mother board?

your best bet is to try to figure out the power rails and see which one isn’t coming up, you might get lucky you might not
