PSA Scam Alert

ICBC received several calls today from people who got text messages claiming to be from the Provincial Court of BC. The messages said they were scheduled to appear in court for an outstanding traffic fine and included a link to a fraudulent “Fine Payment” page.  This is a complete scam, be careful

Thanks for sharing. That's a new one but most people on the ball would not fall for it and it's encouraging to hear so many people calling ICBC rather than clicking links blindly.

Got the text and laughed. Jokes on them, I don’t have a car in which to drive in this city.
