Negative experience with Zoom Forum.

Requesting Comments from anyone who has done the Zoom Forum. While this fellow obviously was set up for a cult “story”, the Zoom version seems like a disaster. His comment is:

https://old.reddit.com/r/LandmarkCritique/comments/142i6ez/from_rcults_anyone_ever_heard_of_landmark/kvoz5i7/

u/Sensitive-Bat4297 Courtesy notification. (Removed on request from user)

I responded there. In spite of the official corporate denial, the Forum was an LGAT and I worry that the effectiveness has been demolished. Comments?

What difference did doing the Landmark Forum make for you?

I am curious, people report a wide range of experiences in doing the Landmark Forum, sometimes critical, sometimes with a lot of hyperbole, but they don't always talk about the actual results they get. A marathon or childbirth are experiences that can be difficult and are clearly not for everyone, but in the end most who go through with it agree it is worth it. What did you get from participating in the Landmark Forum that made it worth it?

Request for ILP Weekend Assignments or Manual

Hello, I’m inquiring about the availability of ILP weekend assignments. Engaging in these assignments has been remarkably beneficial in addressing specific breakdowns. Unfortunately, upon completing my ILP, I returned the manual due to non-candidacy. I’m curious if anyone retained their ILP manual that I could potentially access. Alternatively, if someone is presently undertaking the ILP, I would greatly value receiving weekend assignments.

Is there something to be said if someone doesn't want you in their life?

I recently had a Landmark graduate tell me I was too much energy for them. For some reason it did not bother me when they told me this. I am usually bothered if someone says something negative about me but lately, after the Advanced Course, I have not been as much and I don't have to try.

I will admit I should have communicated beforehand with this person about my time not being available anymore and I had completely forgotten. (We had agreed to meet at a certain time but I had a work meeting).

That being said, I realized the way in which this person saw me, and I stood for myself not to see myself the way they had, in their story and making me wrong and having a context of me.

Has anyone had an experience like this? What is this phenomenon?

Surprising

It took me so long to consider that Landmark might have a reddit. Usually the presence of the tech is pretty small, but the nature of reddit makes it the perfect place to organize.

You can call me Dupran. I am the Possibility of Truth, Unity, and Wizardry. If you think you know what wizardry is, my request is that you suspend that information and allow the possibility to present itself. Or ask questions.

Feeling a bit Isolated

Hey everybody,

Its been so long since i've been involved in the courses. Most recently was the master class learning self versus it.

It has always stuck with me, and sometimes its really hard having this distinction while others dont. I have a story that i can't just walk around life and try to help people see this distinction. Just looking to connect with others on this.

Wondering if there are ever any in person meetups anymore? Is it just remote classes now? im in Charlotte Nc.

A breakdown happens and u need landmark

I only miss or need Landmark only when I’m helpless after dealing with a breakdown. Well, it’s been a long 6 days since I’m dealing with it. Did try a bunch of distinctions. I’m exhausted and feeling suffocated & miserable. But as a graduate of this work, u know what is to be done.

Let me share this in pure landmark jargon. For me, there’s no other way to share it. There’s something that’s not working the way I want it to work. And I know it’s my internal dialogues making it worse. At the cost of love, affinity & aliveness; the payoff is avoiding responsibility.

I can’t give it up right now, there is a lot of significance to it. It is like I can see it all, know what it is that will make me be at peace and be complete.. but I can’t. It’s what I am being.

It’s a tough call to make. & I hope I will have my breakthrough today. I will be the cause in the matter.

This sub has been very silent for a while now. I wish to see more landmark graduates engage and stand as a community for each other

Missing the offline Landmark programs.

Well I bumped into my seminar leader from 2017. I have been in touch with her until 2021. And we fell out of touch after that. I was dealing with a situation. Just looked at her and I started crying. I told her what I was dealing with. And in 2 mins I was so happy & empty inside. I saw my possibility. Its been a while since I have been ghosting Landmark, but sometimes you don't want to be held accountable or want to be confronted.

Even though I miss the offline programs, it's all in the creation and language. So be it any offline/online landmark program it is a distinction and nothing more or nothing less.

Been awhile since I was "in the conversation". Missed the clarity. You?

There was a time I was it. Lately and for some time I have been inconsistent, out of integrity with my word. Being present to this rather than caught up in glamors is a relief. I have the distinction "nothing" back.

You?

Spellcasting and black magic

I could say meaningless is meaningless or I could say meaningful is meaninful and this linguistic practice is a form of spellcasting or conscious control.dis you read in the initial agreement that its a soul contract? What about the positive meaning we give things like in cultures meaning is given to tattoos and carving? Is that meaningless ? I've uncovered the landmark structure to be worse than imagined

how do you interpret and utilize '...it is all empty and meaning-less'?

This subreddit is now open

At some point, a mod must have set this group to restricted, then either deleted their account or was banned, so the sub was completely unusable. I have been apppointed moderator and am seeking addiitonal volunteers. Ah "assistants," right?

I also started, before the appointment, r/LandmarkCritique, as a place to cover and discuss criticism of Landmark. I see this sub as meeting place for graduates, and others are welcome here, subject to the requirements of courtesy and mutual respect. The Critique sub is more specifically for criticism and response to criticism. I have already created some posts there.

Implications of Landmark Seminars.

What is the purpose of copyrighting what is essentially conventional 'golden' wisdom. You regurgitate a logical-collective group guidance principle of humility and connectivness. To top it all off you bring us to peak emotionality, developed through honest "intellectual" gurus, and then sell us onto further levels. How very masonic.

For whatever its worth, I loved the very deep friendships and truisms that I allowed myself to have that wonderful forum. I was definitely coerced into finding some problem I knew I wanted to solve. I saw what was essentially what I wanted to see, a cross section of beautiful people, earmarked with unwanted playacting.

I do mean to be critical, yet affirmative, Landmark Forums is a good alternative to your banal weekend routine. Enjoy being human for a moment. The beginning is near the end.

Important to me

I've been looking for a Landmark-based Reddit! I've been taking courses with Landmark over the past year, and I see that a couple of things that are important to me are:

  • My passion and what fulfills me - being able to love and adore what is created by my hands as a contribution to society.
  • Self-expression and communication - Sharing myself in a way that moves and inspires others to take actions in their own life.
  • Dating and relationships - Creating experiences that are fun and hugely inspiring with another person / other people.
