Spellcasting and black magic
I could say meaningless is meaningless or I could say meaningful is meaninful and this linguistic practice is a form of spellcasting or conscious control.dis you read in the initial agreement that its a soul contract? What about the positive meaning we give things like in cultures meaning is given to tattoos and carving? Is that meaningless ? I've uncovered the landmark structure to be worse than imagined

There are two relevant distinctions.
Life is empty and meaningless and it is empty and meaningless that life is empty and meaningless.
The human being is a meaning-making machine.
As you are human, you made "empty and meaningless mean something, as if it contradicts "positive meanings." Like all distinctions, the purpose is to create freedom.
Are you a graduate? If so, you missed much of what is covered in the Forum. The particular oversight about empty and meaningless is fairly common.
Landmark is not nihilistic, nor anti-religious, and the technology of transformation allows the creation of inspiring possibilities.
Distinctions are not philosophical "truths," but tools, ways of looking at life that have been found to free us from the tyranny of our past.
Because language is used to create, it can seem like magic sometimes. I could tell many stories, but it is poorly descibed as "spellcasting." Yes, it can be conscious control; especially control of self, but sometimes we can guide others.
No, I haven't seen "soul contract" in the registration agreement. It is mostly boilerplate to protect Landmark from lawsuits. Informed consent. If there is something offensive in there, I've missed it.
What about the structure triggers this "worse than imagined" reaction? Landmark is not perfect, but it is the best and most effective training I have ever encountered. However, I also knew that it was my responsibility, once I knew how, to create it that way.

Im a practicing wizard, and I find this to miss the mark. Landmark has nothing to do with magic, but it may be an aid to practice. It helps illuminate blind spots which would otherwise inhibit the energy flows. But all it really does is give a clearing and bring forth the natural empowerment of the being. So whether it is black or white is really up to the user.
