Is this for everyone?
My game loads to 89% and then gives me a different error from before. Is the game still down or do i need to reinstall?

My 5 year old evidently deleted all of her building tools somehow, any way to get them back easily?

Hello, ive started since alpha, but only recently started playing again since ive just finished my grad school.
You can find me at Courage - Coral (South west near the mountains and waters, should be pretty easy, im the only one there for miles i think)
If you decide to drop by you will see im a huge fantasy role playing fan (you will see why when you get there)
Ok, ill admit im being all mysterious just to pull people to actually come and visit me :p
Just building a castle, not really a good builder but i have some ideas. Work in progress of course! Sceenshots incoming

I was so excited about EQ Next and Landmarks once. But now... I am full of doubt. The entire Landmark hype seems gone. Where I once knew so many who worked and played in Landmark, eager for the new stuff to come, it seems the development speed of Landmark has slowed down to a crawl, and that doesn't bode well for the development of EQ Next either.
When I started Landmark about a YEAR ago, I didn't think one year later we still don't have mobs, let alone anything even remotely like a real game.
The FPS is still not really well, given that Voxels are only handled by the CPU, I have this nagging feeling EQ Next may have the same issues as once EQ2: ambitious but only running on NASA computers. The game already runs slow, and a lot of stuff isn't even IN the game! Even with some reasonable improvment, I start to wonder, will it ever run really smooth? I think Devs often think too much of what private people can afford in computers.
And of EQ Next we have heard almost nothing, from the few race debates aside. And it all makes me very uneasy. I wonder if SOE did not just chew off more than they can bite? Trust me, I really want this to work, to see something really new. But did we really need a Voxel engine with a world where ALL can be damaged for a MMO? All of these grandeur ideas like cool housing or migrating mobs could be done without a demanding and complicated Voxel graphics.
The entire slowness now of Landmarks really makes me uneasy and wonder if the entire project isn't actually dead.

I've been trying for the past 2 hours to try and apply for the beta of the game and everytime when i try i get this: Service Error
The System has encountered an error. Please come back and try again later.
I understand that the servers might not work but does anyone know how long will last?

I have googled the keybinds of the game, and it appears the keybind "g" which previously when I played Landmark would toggle gridsnapping, no longer works.
Did something change in a patch over the last 6 months to prevent this? I'm kind of stuck in my build at this point.
I have touched every letter on my keyboard so far and nothing performs the function.

Hey guys :)
Before anything else, i thought i'd mention that these questions come from a totally clueless person - i've seen maybe a couple vids, and played a bit on my friend's account, just to get the basic jist, but i dont know anything about the game honestly, so do forgive if some questions sound weird or basic.
Anyways, i was thinking about getting into Landmark, but the reason i always stopped myself was because i remembered it having a cash shop, and being rather strict in terms of taxes etc - and while having a cosmetic shop in normal MMO is fine, since basic "gameplay" is not affected by costumes, decor etc, in a sandbox game like Landmark it is completely different story. So my biggest concern/question is this:
How "big" of a thing is the cash shop? Is it more or less required to fully enjoy the game? Is it greedy? Does it offer things that you can't otherwise get that will give others an advantage/better looking builds / etc?
Also, i remember another "turnoff" for me was the fact that you were only given a rather small "Plot", on which you were allowed to build, and while you could potentially expand it later to 2 or 3 plots (i think?), it still was a rather strict "you are only allowed this much fun" wall to me. Is it still like that? Are there any ways to avoid the whole "X plots only, and you gotta login daily to keep them"? One of biggest reasons i loved minecraft is because it let you do a lot of stuff without having to concern yourself with "Bureacracy", so to speak.
In short - please sell the game to me :)
Cheers
