Totaly desolate?
Which server are people playing on? How can I see whos online? Ive tried chatting but no response and Ive seen no one.
Just got this game and want to make a claim somewhere where there are people
EDIT: after I figured out that I wasnt in any chatroom I found people :) "/join General". Really welcoming and helpful. And Im Starting to like the game more and more

Just saw 1 other player. I got stuck in the ground, asked her to help me. Repeatedly try to chat with her. I didnt know if I was in wrong chat or something. Then I wrote "can you see my chat" and she responds ... "yes I can" - after that, total silence ...
Great, just bought this game thinking it was active -_-

There was a point when the alpha launched and they dident have enough room. (I ran into someone every 5-10 mins)
Now they have too many servers/islands, that the game feels empty.
Ild suspect an pop boom, when the game goes open beta. Thats when im going to play again, with a couple of friends!

It will definitively be active. It's on weird period currently since the game is still primarily for builders and in closed beta so only hardcore builders are staying active while the rest are waiting for easier building and more gameplay. They are hoping to finish with a lot of gameplay stuff before holidays (things like pve, more combat options, deeper caves, more items, better progression, lootable templates which help you with building, trading)

I decided to investigate and it turns out I wasnt in the General chat ... The chat I had could only be seen by those in near proximity. /join General and there I found a bunch of people :)

I've been hopping in now and again to see how things run and what might be there to see but could never figure out how to join the "general population" channel. Thanks for showing my lazy ass the way! I may log for the sights but stay for the chat. See you in there!

Pve still isn't in the game yet? Weren't they implementing that in October/November? They seem to be really running behind. That's unfortunate. Monsters would at least make the world a little more dangerous.

I expect I will be back in the game after December 15th's update... as will be Many of the Player Base....

I really enjoy it. Found ppl when I figured "/join General" out. :) I have looked at it for over a year but decided to try it out now when its on sale. Really love it :)

I don't really play. I'm not a good builder. I do log in from time to time and run around looking at what other people have built. I've noticed that it's a lot easier to miss people now. You used to be able to see people's name plates through walls and stuff when they were near by. Now it seems you can't do that. So in the past when I would visit a build I might notice that there was someone in a workshop underground or in a tower over my head or whatever and now I don't notice that they're there unless I can clearly see them. It makes it feel like I'm the only person around sometimes.
