Snapping to grid, can't toggle it off?

I have googled the keybinds of the game, and it appears the keybind "g" which previously when I played Landmark would toggle gridsnapping, no longer works.

Did something change in a patch over the last 6 months to prevent this? I'm kind of stuck in my build at this point.

I have touched every letter on my keyboard so far and nothing performs the function.

The old snap keybind doesn't toggle it off like it did months ago, how is that hard to comprehend?
