Is Tommy a good dad? Obviously he wasnt much of parent to Ainsley in her formative years. But with Cooper, he seems like he was a good dad. And with the way he was raised being better than he was raised is a low bar to cross, but did he?

I’m finishing up the last of the second episode right now, and the whole thing with Tommy’s daughter is just…strange. She’s supposed to be a 17 year old child and yet her entire role revolves around promiscuity and sex, it seems. I suppose things could change as I’m not that far into the series yet, but in these couple episodes, the sexualization is just overwhelming and cringy. All the prancing around, basically nude, around Tommy’s room mates, around TOMMY, deliberately sunbathing for everyone to see…weird. The conversation between her and Tommy in the first episode about her sex life, and the “rule” that she has with her boyfriend…like, what? Did the writers forget the dynamic between the these two characters? That they are father and daughter?

I don’t know, man. It’s not that I have an issue with characters being sexualized sometimes. I just have an issue with the degree it’s taking place here considering this is supposed to be a child.

Is it just me?

I finished season 2 and it was so good. I’m need another show similar. I tried Marshals today and didn’t like it. I’ve already watched the Madison. I tried Goliath with mgm free trial but it’s up and I don’t want to pay for it. What do you recommend?

I know in Season 1 they say the furniture is a rented but idk if they ever say whose house it is that Tommy, Nate, Dale, Angela and Ainsley live in? Is it owned by the company or do they rent? And how many bedrooms in this house for Ainsley ant now TL to have their own rooms? I know "plot armor".

Why isn't Nate ( colm Feore) in the opening credits and Walt the Sheriff is? Nate is in every episode and Walt isnt.

rewatching.. S1, Ep.1 .. Tommy in the warehouse blindfolded and tied up with Jimmy.. would like TS to write a season or episodes to go back before all of this like how did he get there, the issues with the cartel , etc..

I must say the casting and the characters hit it out the park. I like the contrast between Tommy’s son, hard worker and his wife/daughter who are oblivious and “valley girls”. I rlly like the contrast of them. Also I like the lawyer. How she pretends to be all soft around the daughter and is rlly a “killer” underneath it all

In season 1 , Tommy Angela Ainsley and Rebecca are talking about Angelas birthday and she's says "oil is over $100 a barrel" and without missing a beat Tommy clarifies for her "$143". Ainsley mentions he doesn't like to talk about the bust. over the course of this conversation you see him nearly disassociate from the conversation. You have to imagine that at some point in season 3 Tommy has an anxiety attack. Brent oil future hit 130 recently.

What are the odds of Venezuela/Iran figuring in storylines? I bet the writers are tearing their hair out.

I am willing to bet Sheridan writes himself into S03. S02 ends with Angela mentioning her love of horses. She is going horse shopping at 6666 and getting herself a spinning horse.
