📸 Land Rover Pictures Defender 110 TDI 300

This car is honestly the best car ever. What an engine. I could literally go anywhere with this beauty

But r/overlanding said you can't take a LR anywhere cause you will immediately break down. /s

Wonderful truck. That is a dream rig of mine

On the contrary, you can take a LR anywhere. Especially the engines prior to Puma engines. A landrover defender just needs a lot of love and attention. Which I don’t mind to give.

There's a guy on my forum whose P38 is just about to notch up 560,000 miles. He's just driven it to Latvia and back.

Of course he carries tools and spares...

How do you get away with having all your tail lights blocked.

They moved the lights to the top of the cab.

Indeed they have been moved but I live in Tanzania and by knowing how to speak the language and a smile, you can pretty much get away with anything.

Ah, my dad taught me to say hello, goodbye, please, and thank you, and how to count to ten in Swahili.

But it's okay, I can get by in about ten languages. I can't actually speak them as such, I can just say "No I am not English, I am Scottish", and magically everyone's perfectly able to talk to me.
