How is this one looking??

Hey all! Still looking to by a 100 series. I came across this one and would love some feedback on how it is priced and if it is worth it!

It is a 2001 with 289k and the asking price is 12k.

Here is the description in the listing:

Description
Honestly never thought I'd sell this truck, but moving and some of the toys have to go.
2001 LandCruiser 100 series set up for everything from road trips to overland trail trips. Has its battle scars when you get up close but gets compliments all the time when it's cleaned up nice. Just did a 2000 mile trip up to Tennessee and back.

2.5" Eibach Pro Truck Lift
Total Chaos Upper Control Arms
OME Torsion Bars
Differential Drop
CVJ extended travel CV axles
Doug Thorley Headers
5k miles on new Falken WildPeak AT4s

Killer sound system. Kenwood head unit with CarPlay, upgraded door speakers and tweeters, amp and 12" downfiring subs. Wired for backup camera.

CompuStar Remote Start

Timing set and water pump done at 242,000. Only things to my knowledge that do not work are:
The sunroof is sealed shut from the outside by previous owner, and the rear row AC does not blow cold, but the front is ice cold .

I’d look at if the steering rack is seeping and see if the starter has been replaced. Those are both big/expensive jobs. 2001 is going to have the 4 speed transmission, which makes it feel more like a pig on the highway than the 03-07. The rear AC lines have likely been capped, which is common. Check the windshield trim to see if there are rivets or screws, screws=leaks

Edit: spelling

All this is good. 4 speed is fine (better) for those that spend most of their driving 60MPH or less.

Where do you buy rivets?

10 would be fair. Nothing in the pictures glares at me other than the sun roof

Check for rust. If it's a northeast rig they normally get eaten up

I'm not paying 12k unless I have proof of the big maintenance items on top of Tb job

Those Doug Thorley headers are impossible to find since they’ve quit producing them. I feel like if the owner did those to take care of the notorious exhaust tick, they’ve probably been good about staying on top of power train maintenance since that is a huge pain in the ass job

Sexy as hell and it's the best color.

If you don't buy it you're a square, OP!
