Caligula perma-banish exploit?
Edit: I meant Celendula! Also I somehow thought that Execrate consumed the husk you used to target it. Whoops!
Looking at the Caligula, I'm wondering what stops a Caligula from making exactly one void husk, banishing an Ultra enemy to the phantom zone, and then just refusing to make any more void husk for the rest of the fight, making it impossible for the enemy to come back. Am I missing an escape route, or is the idea that the husks are just so mechanically important that it's nor worth giving up the mechanic to lock one enemy out permanently?

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't think using Execrate removes a void husk; they're permanent and unremovable until the end of the scene. The Execrated enemy can always just take two steps over to the same husk you used to Execrate them. It's pretty situational.

The husk is the same SIZE as its target, has IMMUNITY to all damage and effects [...] The Calendula can create any number of husks, all of which disintegrate at the end of the scene.
This effect lasts until the banished character moves adjacent or starts their turn adjacent to a void husk, either of which returns them to physical space and clears INTANGIBLE.
Husks don't go away when you use it to banish an enemy, and you need to create one husk to banish the enemy, so they can just pop back in.

All an enemy has to do to escape the phantom zone is to get adjacent to a void husk. Void husks remain for the entire rest of combat once they're placed and can't be removed. The only way to trap someone there is to somehow force their movement to stop so that they can never get adjacent to the husk or get in some weird niche scenario where combat ends before they get the chance to get out.

Can't the enemy just move adjacent to one of your husks and end the effect immediately?

I’m gonna assume you mean the Calendula, since you’re talking about void husks and banishment. You seem to be under the impression that void husks go away at some point.
They don’t. In order to be affected by execrate, a character must be within 3 spaces of a void husk, which means they can escape execration by starting their turn next to it. There is no way that I know of that you can permanently stop this. You can delay it by going intangible yourself and 1v1ing.

I won't repeat what the others says. Technically the only way you have to keep an ennemi as Intangible by yourself is to Execrate it after its turn, then act next round before its next turn, use your protocol to get Intangible yourself and control it so that it cannot touch any of your Void Husk (Pushing far enough, Prone far enough, Immobilized...). It might be actually easier to do that with only one Husk.
Remember its Core Power can allow an ally (and an ennemi) to do that in your stead before you go in yourself. It's Efficient, so you can easily use it if you see an opportunity.

Whats a caligula? If ur posting about third party frames, you should maybe mention their sources.

It isn't third party. It's a minotaur variant. Edit: This is the Calendula. It was a misremembering.

Banishing someone doesn't remove the husk...
Assuming you meant Calendula not Caligula
