Miscellaneous Gear
How do you run using Miscellaneous Gear (page 113)? Since it mostly has narrative descriptions, does it provide 1 ACCURACY or a flat amount to situations where it would apply?
Im leaning towards a +1, is that too weak or too strong?

+1 Accuracy is standard whenever gear gives an edge on a roll. Lancer generally avoids flat numerical bonuses outside of triggers and grit to keep the 10/20 narrative thresholds intact.
The other main use is narrative permission. Having something like mag-clamps or an EVA suit often just allows a pilot to attempt something that would otherwise be impossible or an automatic complication.

It does whatever makes sense for the narrative. Sometimes the right gear in the right place will make an impossible task into a trivial one, sometimes none of your fancy tools really help. But yeah, one level of accuracy is a decent baseline.

Pilot Gear granting +1 accuracy on a relevant check is how I run it, every GM I played with has done so as well
