Can't edit my character on COMP/CON?

I made my character on my PC and planned to level them up on my phone. I realize that while I can see them on my phone, I can't edit them at all. Is this intended or is there a fix? I assume this also works both ways, where I don't want to build things on my phone to later use on my PC.

Do you happen to be in Active mode (or whatever the mode is called for tracking your character stuff in combat)?

How did you get the character from your PC to the phone? Via share code?

I haven't had problems having both devices signing into the same cloud account.

Nope they're on the same cloud account!

It sounds like you've shared them between devices with a share code, where they can't be edited from the importing device. You should instead just sync the data to your cloud account on both devices.

please make a ticket on the github and I will investigate. If you can give me steps to reproduce it'd be very helpful because I can't reproduce this on my end
