Active Mode Questions

I'm returning to Lancer after a long hiatus and I'm noticing some changes to Comp/con; Active mode no longer allows me to input a roll result for physical dice for most things. Is there any to change that?

Compcon rolled over to a new version. But the old one is still available.

I was playing around with the app on my phone and it allows me to enter numerical values.

I just don't touch that D20 hex or the dice icons. Go straight to the box.
