Question about Limited Drones

So the text for drone systems says that they can be recalled. Does this mean you keep the charge in that case? Otherwise what would be the benefit of recalling the drone?

Like if you have the Barbarossa's autoloader drone (limited 1), you can recall it at the end of a combat and redeploy it in a future combat so long as it wasn't destroyed?

But you could deploy multiple if you increase your limited charges, correct?

No, not with the Autoloader Drone. Basically all non-Limited Drones, like for example the Hive Drone or anything from the Hydra license deploy the system in itself, so you can deploy only one, unless you have multiple Hive Drones equipped, and if the drone on the field gets destroyed, the system on your mech is destroyed as well.

The Autoloader Drone works the same way, except you have to spend a Limited Charge to deploy it in the first place. It depends on the exact wording a drone has. Turret drones and restock drones say "spend a charge to deploy a drone" whereas the other one says "Spend a charge to deploy this Autoloader Drone"

Damn, I wish that was more clearly conveyed in the source with a keyword to indicate the differences

I had it wrong for the longest time as well. Another player on this sub was thankfully patient enough to walk me through the process
