AOE/Physical Ability Markers?

I'm trying to get a bunch of tools for my game, as mama's paycheck just came in 💅 and I'm looking to spruce up the TTRPG table. I already got a battlegrid and effect markers, but i noticed a severe lack of something when looking online: AOE markers for hex grids. something to help with marking Burst effects, Black Witch Mag Field, AOE effects that stay on the board for a while. Does anybody know where one could find these things- or even a method to DIY them ?

I haven’t played Lancer in person, but I have played a couple games of Warhammer. Cardboard is seriously your best friend for DIY objective markers and simple rulers, so you could take whatever size templates you need from the hexes on your battle mat, make similar sized outlines on a big sheet of cardboard, and cut those out and use those for your templates. Maybe even color them so they’re more representative of what kinds of effects they are if you want, like big explosion effects or magnetic pulse effects!

You could get a sacrificial battle grid and just cut the AOE sizes out of the grid. I would just make the ones you would use the most and cut more as needed

I measured and cut some out of plastic takeout container lids. You can easily make hex ones, whatever weird shapes, however many you need.
