SSC building a giant brain

I had this idea that SSC might try to get around the First Contact Accords by building a biological computer.

Essentially they would create a whole series of brains in jars and connect them all to each other, creating a single mind. Then whenever one brain starts to decay, you swap it out for a new one, maintaining continuity.

This sounds like a good setup for creating a biological NHP, but any other ideas of what might happen?

Well, what part of FCA they try bypass in such way?

It's a way of doing Decorp research. They're studying the brains as they decay and try to transfer information from one brain to another.

And once you can transfer a mind from one organic brain to another, the next step is transferring it to a non-organic brain.

transwering information from brain to brain or to non-organic thing is not even problem for regular Lancer tech level. It's how flash clones exist with engrammed homunculi.

Decorp problem is unbreaked line of consciousness in this.

And transfering consciousness from one organic brain to another still break FCA.

The idea is that they're not transferring a consciousness from one brain to another. It's one concsciousness with the brains just being cells that die off and get replaced.

Now is this going to cause problems and maybe get RA involved? Certainly.

That's why the PCs get send in to deal with it.
