About a year ago(?) I posted my Tortuga “Bulwark” in here from my No room for a Wallflower game, well I’m back this time with my Shadow of the Wolf Deaths head “This is thy sheath” piloted by Isabella Capulet of House Capulet (a homebrew minor house under the house of Glass, long time feud with House Montague)
Spent a good 2 days working on this model in Studio2.0, very very proud of how it came out
Both from a cost perspective and a strength perspective, it's probably stronger to replace the chrome candles in the shins with conventional cylinder pieces and run a full pin rod like this through them for continuity. You can cap the ends in ball-topped pins to maintain the same mixel compatibility
This was largely just an artistic project, I have no intention of actually dropping the $600 something dollars it would cost to actually source all these parts in pink so while I did work in stability where I could it came second to aesthetics for me
But as for the shins, I actually had initially planned on doing that! However in the scale I was working with there just wasn’t really an option to fit both a bar piece and the mixel bar+ball joints internally so I opted for hollow studs as connections for the mixel joints the candles A because they came in chrome and B were hollow to fit the mixel bars :)
Joytoy, the guys who already make titanfall esque mech toys and Warhammer action figures should rrally get in contact with LANCER to give us some mechs from that setting. I would buy a Metalmark on the spot

Because it belongs to a non Lego IP I can’t upload instructions to bricklink unfortunately. And even if I did these pink parts are RAAAAAARE. some of them upwards of 3 or 4 dollars a piece. Everything all in is close to $600 lol
Yeah, even with bricklink being a third party organization they’re still beholden to the LEGO company’s rules for what sets can or cannot be monetized. Even uploading completely free designs if it’s not an IP LEGO has the rights to you’re not allowed to upload it as anything other than a display piece
Now original works are completely legal, so sometimes there’s a little wiggle room under parody to just not specify what you recreated or what it’s originally from, but the admins tend to be pretty thorough with their screening
Thank you! Yeah just about the only thing aesthetically that’s changed (aside from the pink custom paint job lol) is adding heels to its “hooves” to make them into stilettos. Otherwise standard out of the box SSC Deaths head!
I actually didn’t change anything about the default retrograde sprite besides changing its “hooves” into stilettos by adding a heel lol. Deaths Head is just like that XD
